Ghostly 3D Projections on Trees by Clement Briend

Published 3 years ago

French photographer Clement Briend set off to explore the reality through photography by creating haunting 3D projections on trees of Paris and Cambodia. “I always wanted to photograph the world without it being too faithful to what it is,”  says Clement, who is also a photography teacher at the University of Valenciennes.

The photographer carefully chooses the surfaces for his projections. In this way, both the tree leaves and the projections themselves come out in a whole new quality. Clement produces the massive images through multiple photo quality large format projectors which he modified in order to optimize the flow of light.
