10 Famous B&W Photos We Colorized In Seconds Using A Web App

Published 8 years ago

We haven’t been that excited about a new website in a while now, but that’s exactly how we felt when we heard about Algorithmia. It’s a page where you can take any B&W photo and turn it into a colored one.

The web app is a result of a project long in development by a team at UC Berkeley led by PhD student Richard Zhang. It uses the Colorful Image Colorization algorithm that auto-colorizes black and white photos almost instantly.

How to do it? Just head over to the website and start uploading your black & white shots. As for our part, we’ve gathered a bunch of famous B&W shots, that we always wanted to experience in color.
