If you’re willing to peep into a daily life of the forest birds, check out this awesome bird-apartment concept by Nendo in Japan. A structure is designed to hold one person and multiple birds at the same time. On one side, there are 78 small nesting-boxes attached to one another; a wall with small peaking wholes divides the boxes from a tree house, where you can get in to observe the birds. The fun part is that it makes the birds completely unaware of the the human presence.
The whole structure is supported by three big trees, so anyone willing to get into the tree house part of the structure has to manage his way up a tall ladder. The projected aims to promote access to nature, and the stylish minimalistic construction sure looks dashing in the midst of the Komoro city forest.
