Photographer’s Kissing Experiment: Can You Tell Real Couples From Just Friends?
Back in 2013, New York-based photographer Ben Lamberty took a random photo of a couple kissing, and that photo captured the moment so well, that it inspired him to do a whole series.
That’s exactly what you’re seeing here, a kissing photo series where the photographer asked his friends to pose as models and to simply relax as much as possible and kiss each other.
The interesting bit is that not all of them are couples, some are just friends: “It was interesting to see how the different couples reacted,” said Ben. “It seemed to be more challenging for the ‘real’ couples because it was rather intimate for them than for the friends who kissed ‘just for fun.’ All in all, we all had a blast creating these pictures.”
