Hyper-Realistic Portrait of Redhead Girl Drawn with Bic Pens

Published 4 years ago

If you thought that Juan Francisco Casas’ Photorealistic Pictures Drawn With a BIC Pen were amazing, you have to see this.

No, it’s not a photograph. This hyper-realistic portrait was actually drawn with ballpoint pens by 29-year-old Portugal-based attorney Samuel Silva. What’s amazing is that drawing is just his hobby.

“I’m just a lawyer, art is just a hobby for me, although it takes from 5 to 50 hours to finish each drawing. I started drawing when I was 2”

Samuel used 6 colored Bic ballpoint pens (plus one black) and took a whopping 30 hours to finish the portrait. The drawing is based on Kristina Tararina’s photograph, but surprisingly looks even better.
