I’m Not There: Invisible Man’s Shadows by Pol Úbeda Hervàs

Published 4 years ago

At a first glance, you see just a shadow of a standing guy, but then you suddenly realize that there is no one to cast the shadow in the first place. “I’m Not There” series idea came to Barcelona-based Pol Úbeda Hervàs after some life changing experiences that left the artist unsure of who he was. Therefore, he only gives a hint of a living person behind a faceless shadow.

“I don’t recognize myself anymore. These photos express this feeling,” says Pol. Most of us have probably felt something similar at some point, and that makes Pol’s photo manipulations extremely relatable and touching.
