Cosplay Fan Creates Low-Cost Costumes From Random Household Objects

Published 10 years ago

Cosplay, or costume play, is a performance art where participants dress up as specific movie, game or other pop culture characters as accurately as they can. This activity or lifestyle can get expensive, so Thai cosplay enthusiast Anucha “Cha” Saengchat decided to show us how to make costumes on a budget.

In 2013, Saengchat created a Facebook page called “Lowcost Cosplay” on which he publishes his ideas for low-budget costumes. The way he transforms random household objects into hints of real costumes are hilarious, surprising and truly creative! Here are some of his low-cost creations as well as a few submissions from his followers.
