The 2013 “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” competition came to an end just last week, revealing its winners and their prize-winning photographs. These amazing wildlife pictures were chosen from 43,000 photos submitted from 96 countries. Check out some of our favorites from this year’s competition, including the overall winner – South African photographer Greg du Toit’s “Essence of Elephants.” The Natural History Museum in London will be displaying a collection of 100 award-winning and runner-up photos up until the end of November 2013.
