Sparkleball: DIY Christmas Decorations Made Of Plastic Cups And Christmas Lights
If you still don’t have your Christmas decorations up and you want them to be something special and original that you can make yourself, here’s a project for you. The sparkleball is basically made out of transparent plastic cups and Christmas lights. Though the idea has been around for quite a few decades already, it doesn’t seem to be going out of fashion any time soon.
Some creators on Instructables.com have shared their instructions for Sparkleballs as well as their mesmerizing results. The steps of creating this amusing ball are pretty much the same in all of them: you take a bag of transparent plastic cups, drill through their bottoms, punch holes near the top, tight them up together, and, lastly, run the light garland into and through the cups. All that’s left is to hang the sparkleball, turn on its lights, and rejoice.
