Shape-Shifting 3D Mural Changes As You Walk Through It

Published 8 years ago

Italian street artists’ crew Truly Design, was commissioned to take its street graffiti skills inside the headquarters of the VF Corporation in Switzerland. The result is called a Space Oddity, a mural which plays with your perspective and organically changes shape as you walk through it.

Actually, the more complex and discontinuous an architectural space is, the more the anamorph will break the barriers of reality. Look around yourself, you are surely in the presence of at least one perfect spot for an anamorphic painting,” say the artists.

Our interest for this form of art arises from the application of this technique in industrial settings, where we have been painting graffiti and street art for years. The spectacular scenic effect created on large scales by these illusions never ceases to make jaws drop.
