We don't know if you noticed but the actors in Marvel movies have something in common - all of them are buff. However, someone noticed that they weren't always that way. Twitter user Thenerdyuniver1 pointed out that it was actually the call from Marvel that motivated the actors to get in shape and the before and after photos don't lie. After all, just imagine Thor struggling to lift his hammer or Captain America barely holding up his shield with two hands!

For his role in Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt had to go through a pretty gruesome training regimen, working out three to four hours every day. With the help of personal trainer Duffy Gaver and nutritionist Phil Goglia, the actor managed to lose 60 pounds in six months. The actor had previously gained weight for his role of Andy in Parks and Recreation but is now determined to staying in shape. "It gave me a sense of absolute control," says the actor.
Chris Hemsworth went all out too - he teamed up with former Navy SEAL Duffy Gaver and gained 20 pounds of muscle during his training for the role of Thor. His workout regimen became so popular, many people started googling the term "Chris Hemsworth Workout". Duffy Gaver says many people accused Chris of taking steroid but he hasn't touched a single substance. "It was just red meat, heavy weights, and some protein powder. He crushed every single workout. He simply decided to look like Thor," said the personal trainer.
