This Self-Taught Nigerian Photographer Photographs People With Unique Beauty, And The Result Stuns The Internet

Bisola Mofeoluwa Bamuyiwa is a self-taught photographer who owns a photography company called BMB studio in Lagos, Nigeria. She began her professional career in 2012 but she first became interested in photography back in high-school where she bought her first camera and documented school parties. Bamuyiwa travels across Nigeria and Africa capturing beautiful diverse people. In an interview with Bored Panda, she said she picks models based on the theme she wants to create: "Most times I look for the weakness and make it strong and inspirational." Her goal is to take the ugly and make the world see the beauty in it. On her website she writes: "I want people to see how I envision life in everything I photograph and give someone hope". In fact, Bamuyiwa is the author of the now-famous portrait of the 'most beautiful girl in the world' that took the Internet by storm.
