If Dogs Could Speak: Artist’s Hilarious Illustrations That Helped Him Fight Anxiety

Published 7 years ago

Meet Henry Garret, an artist who found a way to turn his passion for illustrations into a treatment for anxiety. And the best thing about it is that the side-effects of this treatment are these hilarious Drawings of Dogs, which shows as a glimpse into an alternative reality where we can hear dogs speak.

“When anxiety forced me to drop out of my Philosophy Ph.D., I started trying to turn Drawings of Dogs, my little webcomic into more of a business,” Henry told Bored Panda. “I now sell the comics on greeting cards and am working on a book.”

And strangely enough, these illustrations that seem to explore dogs, became a way to explore ourselves: “Making jokes about dogs allows me to reflect on the oddity of human behavior.”
