Street grids might be sexy to urban planners, but Talia Sari wants them to be sexy to you, too! Her “You Are Here” line makes city street grid plans into jewelry. Tel Aviv, Paris, New York, Tokyo – their streets provide the mesh that’s the basis of brooches, necklaces and rings. The designs come in gold and silver. So if you can’t go to New York, you might as well wear a part of it on your clothing.
Talia Sari Wiener works in Tel Aviv, Israel. While studying industrial design at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem when she began working with a local goldsmith. She immediately fell in love with the materials, the proportions, and the craft, and now runs an Etsy store. Besides delicate city street jewelry, she makes apple outline necklaces, LEGO heart necklaces, and more.
