According to the urban dictionary, it’s when your friend is always doing something with their partner and never has the time for anything else. That’s basically the situation behind BFGFS comics with the only difference being that there’s also a puppy involved.
The series was created by Pat (or Patabot), a New York-based illustrator who’s getting tips and inspiration from her husband Ray and their little dog Fifi.
