Mom Makes Adorable Bento Lunches For Her Two Sons
My lunch is never cute; it’s more of a “random mishmash of things.” You can’t say that about Li Ming Lee’s bento-inspired lunches. This crafty and dedicated mom probably spends hours upon hours making food look like anime and literature characters, as well as animals. From Totoro buns to Cat marshmallows in matcha latte, it’s a wide range of cuteness.
Li Ming Lee is a stay-at-home mom of two. She lives in Singapore. She started making cute bento lunches when her firstborn started going to school, so he wouldn’t miss her so much. Lee started her “Bentomonsters” blog in August 2011. This lead to a rapid rise to fame, and to a book called “Yummy Kawaii Bento.”
