This Brilliant Beach House Seems To Float Above The Sea In Australia

Published 10 years ago

The Australian F2 Architecture firm created a magnificent rental house on a beach in Southern Australia that seems to float above the sea.

The illusion disappears, however, as soon as you walk away from the bridge that connects the house to the ground. Looking at the house from any other perspective, you can see that the house is built on a 40 m (130 ft) tall pole that helps create the perfect illusion. The luxurious house provides a breathtaking view of Fairhaven Beach and the Great Ocean Road.

One night in this rental home costs between AUD$440 and AUD$1,220 – a bit pricy, but definitely a great way to treat yourself to a romantic getaway.
