30 "Good Bear Comics" For People With A Dark Sense Of Humor

Good Bear Comics is a webcomic started by comic artist James back in 2013. And even though his comics might appear light-hearted at first glance, they're anything but. James' comics are full of dark humor and unexpected twists, and if that's your thing, then you've come to the right place.
In a recent interview with Bored Panda, the artist said he's been into art and comics his whole life, so starting his own comic strip seemed pretty natural. "I used to sketch a lot as a kid (not just comics), and would even carry a sketchbook around with me in high school. The process of drawing the comics can be a bit frustrating at times, but seeing each finished comic is very rewarding," revealed James.

James explained that when he comes up with something that would make a funny comic, he writes it down in his giant list of ideas and runs it by his friends and family to see if they find it funny. "A big factor on what idea I decide to turn into a comic is what I feel like drawing next—if I feel like drawing cute animals, I’ll pick a joke from my list of ideas with animals," added the artist. "I also have a lot of comic ideas that I love, but they would be a pain to draw, so I unfortunately keep putting those off for later."
