Since annual pie day has passed, it is time to appreciate some beautiful and mesmerizing creations by Seattle-based chef Lauren Ko. With more than 140k followers on Instagram, she manages to create the most intricate designs while using simple pie dough as her canvas.

Since annual pie day has passed, it is time to appreciate some beautiful and mesmerizing creations by Seattle-based chef Lauren Ko. With more than 140k followers on Instagram, she manages to create the most intricate designs while using simple pie dough as her canvas.
Even though her work is absolutely one of a kind, she is fairly new to this business by making pies for just more than a year.
"I usually have some nebulous idea in my head for design and then just improvise as I go along, depending on how well the dough or fruit cooperates with my vision. My final products are generally happy accidents, which is why I'm especially stunned by the feedback," Ko told Buzzfeed News.
