Geometric Line And Dot Tattoos By Bicem Sinik
Dot and line tattoos unsurprisingly remind us of Dr. Woo. But no, this time, it’s Bicem Sinik, a Turkish artist with a certain twist to the minimalistic style. She is particularly fond of animal tattoos, but nevertheless works some geometric shapes into all of her creations. She enriches her lines with dotwork, which gives her works shading and depth.
Bicem Sinik plies her trade in Istanbul. Judging by Instagram evidence, she’s extremely prolific in her work. It’s unsurprising since line and dotwork tattoos are coming into fashion – and that’s despite their vulnerability to time. As stated by Marie Terry of Tattoo Artist London, “With the rise of dotwork and linework, these discreet tattoos have become a kind of fashion, in spite of their potential short life as healing and time would make them less visible.”
