Artists Gave The New Lion King Characters Old School Makeovers And Now People Are Divided

A couple of artists decided to try a different take on the new Lion King characters by giving them a classic makeover.

With classic movies being remade left and right, Lion King, one of Disney's most successful animation films, wasn't spared from it either. When the trailer was first released, people were divided whether they like the new realistic look of the characters or not. Recently, a couple of artists - Ellejart and Design By Feo - decided to try a different take on the new Lion King characters by giving them a classic makeover. From Simba to Rafiki, these two artists took their time to make the new characters resemble ones from the classic film, while still retaining the "realistic" look of the 2019 remake.
