Vlada Haggerty is a makeup artist based in Los Angeles, popular for her amazing lip art skills. In an interview with DeMilked, Vlada told us that she started using her lips as a canvas around 7 years ago. "I didn't know any photographers or models at the time because I was still new to the city, so out of necessity, I decided to do everything myself," she said. The artist further explained to us, "Lip art is my own kind of meditation. I get to turn off my thinking brain when I work and it is really helpful for my mental health. Something about the tedious work of creating lip art helps my mind relax and I can pause all of my worries for a few hours.
