Mateo Humano Transforms Traditional Persian Rug Patterns Into Intricate Portraits Of Women

With nearly twenty years of painting experience, Mateo has explored working on various canvases. Initially a street artist, Mateo originated the concept of painting on Persian rugs in 2017.  This novel approach paved the way for his transition into the gallery scene, resulting in over 200 pieces acquired by passionate collectors. The series boasts various depictions of feminine features, adorned with the ancestral motifs inherent in Persian rugs.
