Minimalist tattoos are reaching new heights, and JonBoy is one of the tattoo artists required even from celebrities to get inked in this style.

Minimalist tattoos are getting more popular, and JonBoy is one of the tattoo artists that celebrities are clamouring over to do their ink. He moved to New York from Chicago 5 years ago and currently works at West 4 Tattoo.

Although he studied in a Seminary to become a pastor, when he was 19 got his first tattoo, and slowly became more and more interested in the world of tattooing.

"It's the little things that matter," said JonBoy on his Instagram. "I like timeless, elegant, sophisticated and simplistic. I think less is more," he added in an interview with Refinery29.
