We’ve been seeing a lot online from the Miss Universe Pageant 2023 and we have to admit this year they’ve pulled out all the stops. The beautiful contestants first garnered attention for their unique shoutouts to their respective countries, which we have to admit we loved and laughed at too. However, seeing these fabulous ladies stepping out bedecked in their finest attire flamboyantly symbolizing their country is inspiring to say the least.
We have to admit, the inspiration behind the symbolism (included below) as explained by the ladies is giving us Cinna in Hunger Games vibes. This costume depicts the goddess Hera. You’ll notice that Greek mythology’s protector of the family has some peacocks by her side. The eyes aim to turn the all the world’s gaze on this costume.
