This Dutch Photographer Captures Nature When No One's Looking (30 Pics)
Nature is beautiful - but there's only so much of it we get to see by ourselves. Lucky for us, Dutch photographer Dick van Duijn captures the side of nature most of us would never get to see in his breathtaking photos of wild animals.

Nature is beautiful - but there's only so much of it we get to see by ourselves. Lucky for us, Dutch photographer Dick van Duijn captures the side of nature most of us would never get to see in his breathtaking photos of wild animals.
Van Duijn got into photography, his biggest passion, 8 years ago after buying his first camera and now has over 70k followers on Instagram. However, one picture in particular has recently caught everyone's eye. The picture in question shows a squirrel enjoying a blooming flower, looking almost mesmerized by its smell.

“I saw pictures of these cute animals from other photographers and wanted to photograph them myself. Because I like flowers and animals, I tried to combine them," told the photographer in an interview with Bored Panda when asked why chose to picture squirrels and flowers. "I am always looking for ways to capture nature in its most unaffected form.”

“There were a lot of curious squirrels, so it was not hard to photograph them, but to capture one with a flower like this took a lot of patience and shots," said van Duijn. "The moment the squirrel smelled the flower and planted his face in the flower, I knew this was the picture of a lifetime!”

“Just start photographing nature and wildlife in your own area and practice and experiment a lot. When you have mastered photography in your own environment, head out to other countries and explore,” said the photographer when asked to give advice to other photographers.
