Photographer Captures Stunning Panoramic Views That Seem Out Of This World (10 Pics)

Published 3 hours ago

Gianluca Rubinacci has a rare gift for transforming vast landscapes into dreamlike visions. His panoramic photographs, often capturing glowing night skies, auroras, and sweeping terrains, look almost surreal yet remain rooted in nature’s raw beauty. In an interview with deMilked, he explained that he began experimenting with photography in 2020 but only found his true direction at the end of 2022. “Once I discovered my passion for panoramic landscapes, I decided to focus almost exclusively on that. Since then, it has become a real journey for me both artistically and personally.”

What draws him to panoramas is the freedom they offer. “They allow me to play with shapes and perspectives, giving landscapes a new form and dimension… what counts is the ability to express a personal vision beyond rules.” His process is slow and intentional, starting with careful planning using tools like Google Earth and PhotoPills, adapting to unpredictable weather in the field, and finally refining the images over days or weeks with editing software. “Ultimately, my creative process is not just about capturing what I see, but about interpreting it, shaping the landscape into something that expresses my perspective.”

From icy fields beneath the Milky Way to auroras shimmering above remote mountains, Rubinacci’s images blur the line between earth and sky. They invite us to pause, breathe, and experience landscapes not just as places, but as emotions both infinite and intimate.
