Alice In Wonderland 3D Papercraft By Marina Adamova

Published 9 years ago

Alice In Wonderland can be liberally described as “somewhat trippy”, and these paper-cut images by Talamaska are simply wonderful. Layer upon layer of cut shapes create 3D images of some of the most famous scenes from the book. The artist does well with both shape, stylization and the choice of colors. The somewhat subdued hues add a layer of subtlety to the whole thing.

Talamaska (actually Moscow born and based Marina Adamova) does a lot in the way of paper cuttings and arts. But, as she writes on Bored Panda, is was after making her first image of Alice in Wonderland two years ago that Talamaska decided to pursue the art of paper cutting.

“There were three things I liked the most: sharp knife I use, second meaning in fairytales [sic] and symbolism in illustration”, Taramaska wrote of her craft.
