Yehuda Devir is an Israeli artist and the creator of the "One of Those Days" comic series, illustrating his and his wife Maya's daily lives. The couple had recently announced their pregnancy, meaning more new adventures are on the way - and the fans couldn't be happier!
“We had been trying to conceive for about a year,” said the artist in a past interview with Bored Panda. “While doing so, we’ve realized that a family of our own is the biggest creation we can hope for.”

The couple's pregnancy journey started last year and was a challenge for both of them. Yehuda shared that the hardest parts were at the end of each month when Maya had her period - the lack of success made them feel like they weren't in control of their lives. "It’s a terrible feeling,” said the artist.
But despite all odds, in the end, the couple succeeded! “We’ve been together for such a long time that our friendship and love seem so strong, it feels like we can achieve everything if we work together," said Yehuda. Challenges make us stronger.”
Yehuda says that the viewers feel like they're not alone when reading his comics, they feel like there are other people in the world that are just like them and have the same ups and downs in their relationships.
The couple first met during their military service and formed a long friendship that eventually grew into a relationship. All of the "One of those days" illustrations are based on real-life moments that happened to Yehuda and Maya.
Even though Yehuda is the main illustrator of the series, he says Maya helps him come up with concepts and composition sketches. She adds her suggestions for improvement, color, and typography after the artist is finished drawing.
“I wanted to say a huge thanks to all our followers and the love we get," said Yehuda. "Thanks to you we can continue to create "One of those days" and make the world a happier place!”
