30 Comics Showing The Struggles Of A Girl Born In The Internet Age

Published 5 years ago

Periods, acne and bad hair days – these are just some problems every girl has to face every once in a while. And to illustrate them, comic artist Bloome created a series of relatable illustrations showing the struggles of Hanna – a 20-year-old girl born in the internet age.

“I have always been dreaming about creating my own world where all girls will be on the same page. The place where you can laugh sincerely or just smile and say, “Hey, it’s me!”,” says the artist. “In my comics, Hanna faces different life situations and her reactions to them are the same as yours – she laughs, feels sad, goes crazy and sometimes just wants to be a little girl who can hide under her blanket.”

Bloome’s comics are full of humor and self-irony – something that the author says helps Hanna cope with her problems and stay cute and gorgeous. “Hanna is a unique girl who knows how to deal with pimples and stay calm,” says the artist. “She knows what it means to have mood swings or to have constant thoughts about her hair – “should I cut it or better dye it?”

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!
