This Artist Perfectly Captured What It’s Like Working In Retail In 20 Funny Comics

Published 3 years ago

Everyone who has ever worked in retail knows that somehow shopping manages to bring out the worst in people. Some of them believe that the made up rule of “the customer is always right” makes it completely acceptable for them to berate or even yell at the employees while they can do nothing but stand there and absorb it all. And since most people only catch a glimpse of what retail workers have to deal with, comic artist Stephen Beals decided to illustrate what it’s really like in his painfully relatable comic strip titled Adult Children Comics.

Check out a collection of comics perfectly capturing what it’s like to work in retail in the gallery below!

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
