If zombies are an egotistical fantasy – ha, I won't be bitten – then it's a really God-damn popular one. And long lasting, too! This video presents the evolution of zombies and their many influential variations over the years. From the voodoo “zombies” - they weren't even dead – in 1932's “White Zombie” to the horrific monstrosities of the night in 2015's Dying Light, the shuffling hordes have seen some changes.
The video is made as part of an advertising effort for Dying Light, a zombie game by the Polish developer Techland. Need more to satisfy your zombie cravings? How about this realistic brain cake!
