Artist Draws On Photos To Give “Big Hugs” To People You Choose

Do you need a hug? Then CDR might be able to draw you one – after all, he's been doing it for any and all. On his “cdrbighug” Instagram, he draws his trademark simple figures hugging everyone from Charlie Brown to young Obama to Carrie Fisher. He's like Oprah of hugs, in that everyone gets one.

CDR is the nom-de-plume of Christopher David Ryan (I can't see the connection), who's based in Portland. He's a partner in a small creative agency and once got famous for his “Sunday Styles,” drawings he did on advertisements in Sunday newspapers.
