Art in the palm of your hand? You got it! California-based artist, Russell Powell, paints celebrities' faces on the palm of his hand. He then transfers them to paper, using his self-titled “hand-stamping” technique.

Russell adds intricate facial features and dramatic shading, which give his creations a spectacular, three-dimensional appearance. He works quickly enough to ensure the paint doesn’t dry before he puts palm to paper.

By adding his hand-print, Russell’s creations get a distinctive personal touch, and will always remain unique to him.
