Thai Wedding Photographer Puts Newlyweds Inside Miniature Worlds

Published 8 years ago

Bored of the classic wedding photos formula? The bride being carried across the bridge, or the newlyweds laying under some birch tree? If you are, no worries, Thailand-based photographer Ekkachai Saelow is here to share his unique way of shooting weddings.

Ekkachai’s photography business literally translates as “Small Person,” and it is because instead of capturing the big picture of the whole ceremony he shrinks the newlyweds into insect-sized figures and puts them in awesome miniature scenarios. To achieve this illusion the photographer cuts the newlyweds from original pictures and pastes them into carefully crafted macro scenes using a tilt-shift technique for a seamless transition.
