It is surprising to learn that Ugalnikov's path to photography was so unlikely. As he writes, he hadn't even touched a camera until the fourth grade. Eventually, he bought a cheap cam to take pictures while fishing. To his surprise, he found himself spending more time snapping pictures than catching fish!
