20 Brilliant Illustrations That Turn Ordinary Items Into Unexpected Art

Published 2 hours ago

Sometimes all it takes is a small shift in perspective to turn the ordinary into something unexpectedly delightful. Italian artist Diego Cusano has mastered this idea by transforming everyday objects into clever, minimalist illustrations that blur the line between reality and imagination. A fork, a sponge, or a piece of fruit suddenly becomes part of a visual joke that feels both simple and brilliantly inventive.

Cusano explains that his creative process began when he started looking at familiar things in a completely new way. “I started watching things from a different point of view, and from this new approach, I started creating the illustrations that, since then, I’m publishing each day on the social networks,” he writes on his Facebook page. Through clean lines and smart visual twists, “objects change their native function through the graphic to a new, different, unpredictable function.”

Check out some of his wonderful works in the gallery below.
