Coffee Table Made Of Layered Glass To Resemble The Depths Of The Ocean

Published 10 years ago

Christopher Duff of Duffy London created a concept coffee table design made of high grade wood and layered glass. Looking from above, the table becomes a mysterious abyss in the ocean with beautifully swirling layers of sand surrounding it.

I was looking into sheers of thick glass at my glass manufacturer’s factory, and noticed how the material darkened as they added more layers – the same way the sea does as it deepens,” explains Duffy to Design Boom.

The Abyss Table is limited to 25 editions and are available for purchase here.
