Hundreds Of Climbers Scaled The Swiss Alps For Epic Photoshoot
Swiss mountaineering brand Mammut collaborated with hundreds of fearless mountaineers and professional photographer Robert Bösch to create a majestic photoshoot in the Swiss Alps. The stunning campaign, with climbers in red arranged in gorgeous compositions, was created to promote the brand’s hiking and climbing gear and clothes that were designed for extreme mountain trips like this one.
Armed with eye-catching red suits, perfect for the snowy background, the mountaineers were able to demonstrate their impressive climbing skills and beautiful choreographic compositions by hiking and clinging to climbing ropes throughout the Alps. One of the most unbelievable shots was taken while at night, when the team illuminated the route to the top of the Matternhorn with red lights to pay tribute to explorer Edward Whymper and his team, which ascended it for the first time 150 years ago.
This Mammut’s ad campaign 2015 is a perfect example of branding and artistic photography coming together to create beautiful scenery for us to admire.
