Artist Draws Her Cat Using 12 Different Styles

Published 9 years ago

We might view cats differently, but artists see cats in a different light. Here’s Miyuli redrawing the same cat in several different styles. The unnamed feline overgoes several transformations as the artist moves from realism to Tim Burton, Simon’s Cat, Pusheen and Jim Davis (well, actually Garfield) and more.

Miyuli is the nom-de-plume of a German animation artist named Julija K. She posts a lot of her work, inspired by both anime and Western comics, on her Instagram. I wish she redrawn the cat in more styles, like those of comic book illustrators Dave Gibbons, Frank Miller, and, just for kicks, Rob Liefeld.
