Intricate Paper Wedding Dresses By Asya Kozina

Published 9 years ago

Silk dresses aren’t delicate enough. For full-blown, no-holds-barred delicateness, you have to get a paper dress, preferably made by Asya Kozina. The paper dresses are stylized versions of several traditional wedding garments from cultures from around the world. They look solid enough, but I wouldn’t want to move (or sweat) in them.

The dresses were made for a promotional shoot for wedding lingerie makers “Wild Orchid.” Kozina is an artist from Saint Petersburg, Russia, who works with paper. This isn’t her first time making wedding dresses, either: previously, she made paper replicas of Mongolian wedding garments!
