Posting glamorous images on the internet is all the rage these. And so is uncovering the lies behind these glimpses of fabulous life posted online. Hồ Anh Đức of Vietnam made this video poking fun at various techniques used to stage pictures.

“I want to show that what’s behind pictures on social networks is not exactly what you think,” says Hồ Anh Đức. However, this raises a question about us as a people. Are we so insecure about our daily lives that we need to believe thatbeauty and adventure is always staged? Maybe we just don’t want to face the truth that our daily lives are boring and colorless while someone is out there, having Instagram (previously Kodak) moments all day.
