Lizard Finds A Cozy Bed In A Rose Bloom

Published 9 years ago

Nobody can sleeps on clouds, but this lizard managed to get the next best thing – Imgur user Cmycherrytree found him sleeping in a rose! The bloom was picked for her by her daughter. They only noticed the lizard once they leaned in to smell it.

The tiny lizard is a Carolina anole, found in the southeastern United States and on some Caribbean islands. It’s diurnal, so it’s perfectly normal for it to sleep during the day. However, it looks deceptively peaceful: anoles are territorial and will fight other males that enter their territory.
