Photos Of Random People Turned Into Fun Illustrations By Julio Cesar

Published 9 years ago

Art imitates life, and in these drawings by Julio Cesar based on random photos of people, imitate in a cheerful, quirky way! Be it a girl in a cafe or stock photography, or even an adult actress on magazine cover, they all get a transition into 2D. The level of detail and the drawing styless might change, but the result is always fun.

Julio Cesar (a.k.a M209) is a freelance illustrator who lives in Fortaleza, Brasil. He used to study publicity and advertising, but dropped out to focus more on his work. “My inspirations came from movies, musics and other illustrators,” Cesar said in an online interview. “I have a lot of inspiration from Rayner Alencar, who is another illustrator and also a friend of mine, who always helps me with tips and new techniques on Photoshop.” His main influences come from 80’s/90’s cartoons – I though I saw some Batman: The Animated Series in there!
