Snow Just Fell In Arizona Desert And Even Though These 17 Photos Look Beautiful, It Might Be A Serious Problem

Published 6 years ago

You wouldn’t normally expect snowfall in a place like Arizona, but last week Mother Nature decided to play a little trick on the locals by covering the Sonoran Desert in a fresh layer of snow. Many locals were surprised by such an event and quickly starter flooding social networks with pictures of snowy desert landscapes.

It’s not often that such an event occurs and seeing cacti and typical desert shrubs covered in snow is almost surreal. Sadly, one of the main reasons for this phenomenon might be global warming and if we don’t take measures to fight it, these types of occurrences might become increasingly common.

Check out the photos of the snowy desert in the gallery below – we’re sure you’ll be just as surprised as we were!

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
