Incredible Paper Art Hand-Cut From Single Sheets Of Paper By Suzy Taylor
Paper is a delicate material to work with, which makes paper cut art by Suzy Taylor look ever more impressive. They contain folk and natural motifs, and are all intricately cut. It’s more impressive because, as Taylor puts it, she does it in the traditional manner – from one sheet of paper and using a craft knife. Each design is done by hand, so no two are ever the same.
Suzy Taylor is based in Herfordshire, England. “A customer at an art exhibition, on closer inspection of my papercuts, suggested I might be ‘a bit bonkers!’, and I suppose when it comes to my papercutting, he must be right,” she wrote on her blog, adding that she loved working that way, getting lost in it for hours on end.
I can also get lost in papercutting for hours, but the result is a lot less pretty, and a lot more bloody!
