The swimsuit photo series featuring Yazemeenah is part of a collaboration between online shop The Dreslyn and a lingerie house Land of Women. According to Brooke Taylor Corcia, founder of Dreslyn, the idea behind the collection was to stay away from the hyper-sexualized imagery of existing swimwear lines. And Malibu, California-based Rossi was a perfect candidate to portray that: “This is a woman who radiates health and vitality," Corcia told Huffpost. "She’s confident, she’s a visual artist, she takes care of herself. Believe it or not, Yazemeenah Rossi is 61-years-old

She was born in France in 1955 and was raised on the island of Corsica

She’s a model, visual artist, and self-portrait photographer based in Malibu, California

These photos are part of a campaign for a swimsuit collaboration between online shop The Dreslyn and lingerie house Land of Women

“There is no big secret,” she once told the Sunday Times. “All I have ever done is eat organic food – long before it became trendy”

“I take oil and use it on my skin. I put rapeseed oil on my hair. I scrub my skin once a week with olive oil and fine sugar, and I eat an avocado a day and organic meat and fish”
