9-Year-Old From Spain Wins The International Wildlife Photography Youth Competition

Published 10 years ago

The annual Young Wildlife Photographer’s grand prize for 2014 went to 9-year-old Carlos Perez Naval from Spain for his beautiful photo of a scorpion.

The National History Museum in London has been organizing the competition since 1964. The competition has a category for young photographer that are up to 17 years old. Though Carlos is one of the youngest grand prize winners ever, he seems like an old hand – he has been capturing shots of nature since he was only 4 years old. That was when he got his first camera from his parents, who are passionate travelers and always take their son on their trips and adventures abroad.
