From Café Cups To Tiny Canvases: Berk Armagan’s Travel Art (20 Pics)
Some artists carry sketchbooks. Others carry cameras. But Berk Armagan carries something far more unexpected: paper coffee cups. What most of us toss away after the last sip, he transforms into tiny canvases filled with detailed cityscapes, portraits, and cultural moments gathered from around the world. Takeaway cups become miniature works of art inspired by the streets, skylines, and stories of the places he visits.
As Berk explains, “I started drawing on cups with the idea of gaining financial income to travel the world. I have traveled to 25 countries and 60+ cities when I realized this idea since October 2016. Although I do not have any education for drawing, I have seen so many places in the past few years and reached many people.”
What began as a creative way to fund his travels soon turned into something much bigger. “I share what I’ve learned, my experiences, and my art while traveling with the people who follow me. Thanks to them, I’ve been able to collaborate with brands such as Ford Turkey, TikTok, Starbucks and others.”
Without formal training but fueled by curiosity and courage, Berk proves that art doesn’t need grand studios or expensive materials. Sometimes, all it takes is a cup, a pen, and a willingness to turn the everyday into something unforgettable.
