The richest coal deposit in Serbia, near Aleksinac. First investigations were carried out on the site at the end of the nineteenth century, when the successful exploitation of coal was performed until November 17, 1989, when a fire is caused by the negligence of this district in the north at a depth of 700 meters. Entire first shift died, 90 miners.

The cave is closed as well as many houses in Aleksinac mine where the number of homes decreased significantly. With the miners, after 106 years of existence, also a mine died.
